Artist’s Statement
My artwork is the result of a life long study of nature and a love of the subject matter, a love of artistic expression and the challenge of pushing the boundaries of my ability.
I try to share a feeling or atmosphere that depicts some of the character of the animal as well as creating a beautiful piece of work to look at. I always paint animals I have seen and try to spend some time with them, in an attempt to gather the details that are needed to capture those magical moments and transfer them to canvas.
